Ras al-Hanut (Moroccan Spice Mix)

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
¼ teaspoon freshly ground cardamom seeds
¼ teaspoon freshly ground cloves

Mix all ingredients and store in a spice jar. It will keep indefinitely but lose its pungency over time.
