Meat and Walnuts (Nadi)

Saudi Arabia
3 tablespoons butter
1 lb. ground lamb or beef
3 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves (cilantro)
1/2 cup orange juice
Zest of 1 orange, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon allspice
Heat the butter in a saucepan; then add the meat and coriander leaves, and sauté for 10 minutes over medium heat. Add the orange juice and cook a further 5 minutes; then stir in the orange peel, walnuts, salt, pepper, and allspice. Place in the center of a large serving plate and surround with plain rice.

Serves 4.
